Evonik To Increase Select Polyurethane Additives Prices In North America  

PARSIPPANY, N. J. – March 19, 2008 – Effective April 15, 2008, Evonik Goldschmidt Corporation’s Polyurethane Additives business line will increase prices for KOSMOS® 29 stannous octoate by 15% in North America.  

Dilutions of KOSMOS 29® as well as KOSMOS® 19 di-butyl tin di-laurate will be increased in proportion to their tin content.  

The primary reason for the increase is the rapidly rising cost of tin metal.
