Evonik Plans To Increase North America Polyurethane Additives Prices    

Rising Raw Material, Energy, Transportation, Packaging Costs Cited     

PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 28, 2008 ─ Effective July 1, 2008, Evonik will increase prices for all Polyurethane Additives including TEGOSTAB® silicone stabilizers, GORAPUR® release agents, TEGOAMIN® catalysts and ORTEGOL® products in the North American region by 5% - 7%.  

Tin based products are not included in this increase.  

Evonik has worked diligently to offset continuously rising raw material, energy, packaging and transportation costs. “We will continue in these efforts however, it is no longer possible to absorb rising costs,” said Steven P. Snead-Smith, Business Director NAFTA, Polyurethane Additives.
